Attack me if you like. My point is still valid and it's that which you can't seem to disprove

looking at that list, there are few, if any, that have equalled the 'outs' with the 'ins'...majority seem well short of numbers, i guess there is still a lot to happen yet because looking at the numbers a few are running pretty much on the bare bones right now.

They have settled squads ready to hit the ground running on day one. We on the other hand have no full backs or strikers rs apart.

Our history is completely irrelevant to our present situation.

This sounds like you are trying to say that everything is the fans' fault.

Poor Team Performance = Toxicity = Fans' Fault

Our history is what got us here. Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them again and again. Likewise with correct decisions. We should be looking at what's worked in the past.

But they could be crap squads. I'd rather make sure we got the right people in rather than a scatter gun approach

The heatwave is breaking so LJ might sleep a little better at night

Wouldn't we all but there's no evidence of us changing transfer policy to date. Our competitors have signed decent l1 players. Power and Wyke weren't liked here but how many players leave here and do well. Power also played there before. There other signings do look better though.

Think he'll sleep better when he's a squad to pick from.

You don't have a point. If you had we could discuss it. Perhaps you should look at the broader picture.

you have made a few good points though marra, i agree with most if i am honest...but as i said earlier in one thread, there is feck all we can do to change anything so it is pointless getting upset/stressed/worked up about it.

all we can do is put our faith in the new regime, i have every hope that they want to see us out of this league as much as the fans do otherwise it would be pointless them buying the club, i believe big strides have taken place behind the scenes with the new recruitment team et all.

while we as fans, and indeed the manager and staff would prefer it if we had a full squad now to work with, i really do not want the club to just get bodies in to look busy, if we are to wait a little longer for the right choice then so be it...but if we are still in the same position when the season begins i would really want to know why as we are meant to have had a list(s) all in place when the season ended, which is why we were able to let so many go.

So we've no defence and lack a goalscorer, our head coach is stressed out by the situation but I've no point. Righty oh.

Scatter gun? Bloody hell marra, it is looking more and more like we haven't even got a slingshot in our weapons chest!

Which history is that? The one that has seen us being no more than a yoyo club since our relegation in 1958, with a single major domestic trophy win since then? The history that hasn't seen us finish in the top 6 of the top division since God was a boy? Enlighten me as to our divine right to be any more than what we are.

All we can do a fans is discuss issues. If the head coach is stressed I think it's valid to bring it up.

I think we all want quality in and not just bodies but the recruitment team have been in post fir a while. I'll judge them on action rather than words. We've not had enough of the former though.

Looking at that - we are not doing too bad.
I would have liked Mo Eisa (gone to MKD) and Jorge Grant (Peterborough)

Interesting that Callum Doyle has left us already <laugh><laugh>

We've had 4 seasons in l1. 3 of those being the last 3 seasons. That's unacceptable given we've been going since 1879. We've just come off 10 years in the top flight so not yo yo recently. If you want to do down our history go for it but I think we're better than this. I'd also look at how we've bounced back in the past with little funds.

i kind of 'brushed over' the sleepless nights part and read more into the lot of work going on part...as long as there is plenty work ongoing then that says additions will arrive although with all the hype about the 'ready lists' i did expect a little more movement.
