I recognise the face of the bloke with the crossbow, but it is a really young version. I just cant think of the name and I dont want to cheat on Google.
nice one cheers. I kind of had des o'connor in my head but didn't think it was him. just did not know for sure. it was just familiar. saves doing my head in trying to remember
Bob Monkhouse eh. Can anyone help me out with the women? Not their names, I mean the women, can't handle both at my age.
Addistiger (if I'm interpreting his original quesion correctly (post # 2740)) was "Who with Hull City management responsibilities also managed (before or after managing City any home nation international teams?". Neither Steve McLaren nor Don Revie ever managed City, so do not qualify.
I never commented on that so I doubt it. My only comment on the subject was that thinking McShane had nothing to do with the friendly purely based on the timing of his appointment was daft.
I doubt he had much to do with Bernard either. Hopefully he had good words to say about us but our good work in developing young players certainly won't have gone unnoticed. It's a pretty big compliment that we got Baxter and Longman when there were a number of clubs after both. As a young player and for Bernard it's a brilliant move for him. The step up from L2 is huge but he's in very safe hands with us.
I also doubt United are interested in any of our players unless it's a KLP or Greaves, in which case we would have heard a lot more about it.
Bernard sounds a real talent and should be a good signing. Are we likely to see Jones move into midfield in some games Bernard partner Greaves I wonder? I guess a lot depends on Slater and whether he comes!
I saw Bob Monkhouse at Bailey's once, and he was one of the funniest guys I've ever seen perform live. Rather near the bone at times, but hugely entertaining.
I was wrong about this, Professional Standing is defined as any Player who has made one first team appearance (including as a sub) for any Club in any first team competition, so I'm not sure what possible grounds we have for appealing it.
True. I was thinking of players only. Probably because they spring to mind more readily. Laziness I guess,
So Harry Wood does count then. As do a few other youth players. Without paying that loan back this could get tricky.
