I like the look of this Anti-Post Acca mind......before the season starts. Brighton (bottom half) - 4/9 Bournemouth (top half) - 2/5 Sunderland (top 6) - 4/6 Exeter (top half) - 4/6 Torquay (top 7) - 10/11 Bayern. M (champ) - 1/6 PSG (champ) - 1/6 13.6/1
Not a gamble on the footy or the gee gees but came home to a nice little £2000 win on the post code lottery today. Yeehaw.
Cheers Saff and yes new curtains and soft furnishings. I got a Curly Wurly and a packet of Wotsits out of it.
I've took On to Victory purely cos its colours are red n white. Not the most logic of reasons but that is a bloody good race and quite a few have a decent chance.
I had drunk so much last night I can't even remember our little exchange Music Society is running again today. This clearly lacks the quality of the race last week and is running from a mark 4lb lower. If it's not to quick of a turnaround for the horse it could finally go one better here. Different jockey as well which also puts a question mark against it.
Never even noticed it. Very very unlucky last week. The outside draw must have cost 3 to 4 lengths. Will have a look and might have a bit 10p each way
William Buick (Staxton) seems a significant booking for Easterby in the same race. Of course that could be purely the owner wanting Buick or the jockeys agent getting him a spare ride. Horses drawn high and low so chances given to both.
Well spotted. It doesn't seem like it's getting ideal ground but it's been dropping in the ratings the last couple of races so could be ready for a big run My TV picks today... 1.20 - Dark Shift. The last two races have been in unfavourable conditions. Today it gets ideal ground, steps up in trip and looks like its primed to go close today. 1.55 - Music Society. Still well treated and this isn't as competitive as last week but the change of jockey is putting doubts in my mind. There's a few at bigger prices that might grab a place and I'd favour Bernardo O'Reilly who looks well treated for this. 2.10 - Dora Penny. This is a poor looking nursery but I've gone with Dora Penny who is still unexposed and maybe this trip will bring out further improvement. Won't take much improving to win this. 2.30 - Urban Artist. Wide open race and a case can be made for half the field. I like Urban Artist though and a little bit of rain around will seal the deal. 2.45 - Sayyida. This looks another good horse from the Appleby yard and with the way Doyle is riding at the moment it's hard to see anything beating this today. 3.05 - Wonderful Tonight. No price for a bet. It's been held back and held back waiting for favourable conditions so you would expect it to hose up in this race. 3.40 - Hurricane Ivor. I think this horse could potentially be running in champion races. So massively underrated in the handicap imo and the step up in trip today should show that.
Not sure which bet or bets I'm putting on yet. The bookies have kindly dropped another £5 free bet in my account so I've stuck it on Dark Shift in the first and then I'll see where I go from there.
Yeah I'd be surprised if that doesn't win. I got just over 5/1 for the double with Wonderful Tonight and Sayyida.
Power Over Me 3rd and Boundless Power would have went close but found trouble in running which ruined his chances.
