Burton, Tomlinson, Scarr, Gillesphey, Edwards, Camara, Randell, Broom, Law, Ennis, Jephcott.

    Subs
M Cooper, Houghton, Wilson, Hardie, Mayor, Grant, Galloway, Craske, Pursall, Mitchell, Shirley.

Squad divided between starting eleven and subs.

Watchout for Klaidi Lolos....he'll want to prove something today.

    Torquay...0-2...Argyle...H/T.

    Ennis...42mins
    Camara...45+1 mins.

Good open game....but not keen on paying £10 for Torquay tinted commentators

Good way to wrap up pre-season. Tough games against Championship opposition will have been good workouts and neither the results nor the performances were anything to be ashamed of. A good win is the perfect way to wind it up though. Training will be cheerful next week.

    Torquay...0-3...Argyle...F/T

    Ennis...42mins
    Camara...45+1mins
    Hardie...82mins

Had to guess the goal times

The Torquay tinted commentator talked up Torquay's game beyond what was actually happening.

Second half was sub after sub as expected with eleven to pick from.....at least 10 changes.....didn't see Grant come on.

Seeing Randell spent the season at Torquay you'd think that they would have known how to pronouce his name by now.

I don't know what we gained from this match other than more fitness....it did give Broom some opportunity to show us what he can do....and he did alright....Ennis was given to much space and made them pay with a goal....Camara and Hardie had to much time from the Conference side and also scored accordingly.

One moan from me (had to be at least one didn't there).....Jephcott hardly involved against a Conference level team.....we definately need at least one experienced striker.....Hardie will not score so easily against Div 1 defences....Ennis will need support from somewhere.

PS.....Did it cost more than £10 to get into a friendly against a Conference side ?....seeing it cost that to watch a video ?.

I refused to pay £10 for a preseason friendly whoever it was against. Think they were out of order with the charge. So didn't watch it or listen to anything or follow it anywhere else. Have read the report in the Herald and seems we dun good. Almost time for the real thing so get your animals or whatever you use for predicting out of their cages and start swatting up.
