Kris Moore coming on for Cresswell who has a concussion after being kicked in the head and now we have given a penalty away on the hour

2-1 Fleetwood. Get a grip lads you have lost control in the last 15 minutes for no reason

Last 15mins and we need to see Poved and Summerville on the ball because we are doing nothing without these two on the ball. Max Dean isnt a Gelhardt or Greenwood

Maybe these type of performances are exactly why we did not see any of the lads used towards the back end of last season, not ready yet?

Last 5 minutes and we are back in it but look like losing this. We are back in control again but after giving away 2 silly goals that we should never have given them. We need to get Summerville and Poveda on the ball or we have nothing

we looked 2 different sides in both halfs.
1st half we looked in control. 2nd half we seemed to be chasing everything.
Still only their 2nd game back so can't be too hard on them but still plenty of improvement to be had but that was a good test against decent opposition.

I only watched the second half and from what I witnessed keep them well away from the first team, none of them look ready to me, we were second best.

Not worrying about the U23s in the higher league this season after that. Yes we got beat but gave them it and allowed them to control the game for a 20min spell. Other than that we fielded a team without Joffy or McGurk or Greenwood. We played Liam McCarron at LB? Lewis Bate came on and gave away a penalty but in the main he was really good. Drameh solid and so too was Kenneh and Cresswell who we missed after he got concussion. Summerville is a handful and not given the ball enough. McKinstry was ok but Poveda was not effective enough and for me isnt a first team player, even though i have been patient with him. Onnthe wole we were unlucky tonight but our team was missing a couple of key ingredients and sorry but Max Dean as much to learn

    Agreed.

The way I see it the first eleven has been slightly improved but the team as a whole has been weakened. Would like to see two creative central midfielders in, but that want happen. So are hoping for at least one.

So fare the transfer window has been a bit disappointing.

The team as it stands now, I would say we will end up midtable. Think we overachieved a bit last season and was a bit lucky. We all know the second season is the hardest one.

Got to agree, I think we slightly over achieved but I hope I’m wrong, with fans back will Bamford allow the misses to get to him?

    Agreed
The run-in we had last season was encouraging though. Hope we can replicate that from the start and keep it going. But think for that to happen we need a bit of luck from injuries.

Was thinking the same thing regarding Bamford. Almost every time he missed last season I was thinking, you are lucky there are no fans in the stands. Be interesting to how much leeway he has this season.
