The vaccines have only been approved since the end of 2020. As they were not synthesised until a few months before, there is no historical evidence of their efficacy. So they state the only fact that is in evidence: "provide strong protection against severe disease for at least 6 months for the majority"

You have concluded that, therefore, the vaccines only last 6 months; an assertion that cannot be backed up by any evidence.
