I reckon there all a bunch of Sheep following each other , frightened to go against the grain incase it upsets others. The minority of good posters often shot down. At times its like a schoolboy bullies playground.
"KLD is Donald's puppet" "Sartori on the board is there to push through CM/SD's agenda) "KLD is a chancer" "No money" etc etc etc zzzzzzz
Haven't listened to them but a couple of podcasts have dropped tonight, no doubt covering the pre season transfer dealings... Roker Report https://aca.st/2ba825 And WMS https://aca.st/6bff37
He’s a good lad as well. I don’t think he’d say stuff like that without hearing it from someone first. I hope this is the one time he’s wrong.
Safc are certainly not skint. You can see that with the money invested into the infrastructure behind the scenes. It's a decent amount. There are multiple cash bids in for players. Simply comes down to stricter negotiations. We all want deals to close quicker that's for sure. Be heading back off here after this as just come on quickly as I can imagine the negativity hitting fever point now. On a personal note, I am for strict negotiations but they are putting themselves into a situation and simply need to close deals now.
Still confident of the Jebbison deal and the top CH? Think you said you Jebbison could be done over the weekend,
or maybe he mean agents are not happy, being told to do one ...if this was to be true I would over the moon we've found a backbone
Haggling over wages maybe? How much of Jebbison's to pay. Might give us a bit more for another player. I hope we can't be forced into a clause where he would have to play a certain percentage of games.
He was quite clear in saying Speakman and Harvey were useless in negotiations due to having no experience. If agents are thinking that, we are ****ed. Vermin or not, agents are part and parcel of the game
‘SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY’ is odds on to be chanted Saturday afternoon if we find ourselves comfortably behind.
by all accounts 'multiple bids' has been talked about for a while now, that suggests a few cash deals are being looked at which would knock the skint idea on the head...for a loan player, do we not agree to pay a % of his wages, if so then no one can offer 'more cash' although they may try to offer a higher % of wages and let's face it, a youngster will not be too highly paid regardless of 'potential' so a % of an increase on a % of his wages is actually going to be quite small. nothing has actually came from the club regarding galagher or jebisson, either to confirm interest or that we decided against them/got priced out/they chose a different club...chances are, we will never find out for sure so we are not even 100% that any kind of deal was even arranged although it probably is true we were showing an interest. ...but, and here is the rub...IF it turns out the club have stopped short of both players just so it 'sounded good for the fans' then it is going to take a long time for the fans to get behind the owners again, personally, i do not feel any club would stoop to those lengths to try and appease the fans as regardless of ownership the club has never been slow in letting the fans know they wont be spending...i really hoped something would have been announced regarding a LB by now considering we (apparently) dropped out of one deal as someone better had come available, hopefully we will hear some positive news soon.
"i do not feel any club would stoop to those lengths to try and appease the fans." Of course not, because it does the exact opposite.
From only my own point of view. The 'infrastructure' comment doesn't ring true. I'm regularly around the stadium and AOL for work and the buildings and surrounding areas look abysmal. I know you probably mean other areas of infrastructure but based purely on what I see in passing the place looks rundown.
