Mail (yes I’m sorry. I read it so y’all don’t have to) now reporting the same, as I speculated last night. I have no doubt Kane will be having conversations with Levy and any suitors but this whole missing training lark may indeed be just a lot of noise. Surprised nobody has confirmed it if it’s true though, even through a leak or something rather than an official statement.
Probably because it sadly isn't true. No one else is running with that version of the story, including Ali Gold. And as bad as the club is with PR there is no way they would've knowingly ignored the social media ****estorm if there's a perfectly rational explanation readily available. Most plausible explanation is that Kane is trying to force through a move and due to his 'gentleman's agreement' plus his interview with the Neville snake and the fact that his brother is his advisor, was caught totally by surprise at the uproar his actions have caused. In his own mind, his status as club legend and fan favourite is set in stone and unassailable, he already notified the fanbase of his intention to leave so QED has nothing left to do or to prove and has therefore done nothing wrong. Not the first time he has overestimated his ability to deal with things. We saw the same character trait every single time he came back from injury. There is a fine line between determined and deluded and this summer he finally crossed that line. As for Levy/ENIC? Ironically this stand off suits them just fine. Divert fan anger away from the shambolic manager hunt, lack of significant transfer activity and abysmal season and focus it on City and Kane instead. When in reality, bottom line is the only reason he's choosing to leave at all is b/c ENIC have got almost every on-field decision wrong in 2+ years. This mess is of their making. Kane has stupidly elected to make it more of a mess than it already was.
I would have expected Spurs to have announced it on their website immediately if Kane had tested positive for Covid. And Kane himself would have said something on social media, rather than let his name get dragged through the mud all over the internet
If that was truly the reason then it would have come out yesterday from Ali Gold or the club. This smells of bullshit. I'm reminded of this for some reason
Yeah that’s why it’s such a weird one. It legitimately makes sense as an explanation but you’d have thought that someone would have confirmed it through official channels or otherwise by now. All it would take is a leak to a friendly journo like Ali Gold and everything would dial down a few notches.
I dont have a 4th image in my sig. Not sure why it says IMG there, because its not written in my sig. Its weird
If it is just a lot of noise then we should ban Skyte Sports from all future media briefings Frankly we should have done that as soon as that interview with Gary Neville aired, but if it is bollocks then the fact they parked a van outside our training ground yesterday to prattle on about this - and I'm hardly going to go out on a limb to suggest his dickhead brother had something to do with that - then, at that point, they can **** off and continue ****ing off until they reach the point where it is physically impossible for them to **** off anymore, and that's when we tell them they have barely started ****ing off The Times were running the Covid story yesterday As I said, if Kane didn't have Covid yesterday, after Graham Roberts spoke up he was probably licking patients in a Covid ward for the sake of his own wellbeing
I'm waiting for a "I was quoted out of context" regarding reports from unnamed England team-mates that he's going to force through a move, whatever the cost
Has anyone said he had a positive test? Isn't it that he has to isolate for a week and then return a negative test to meet Government rules? And why are we entitled to know his medical status?
Correct. Assuming he’s not double vaccinated then he’ll have to take a test day 3 and 8 after landing and can opt to take a day 5 test to get out early. Obviously if he tests positive he will have to isolate for longer. I’m assuming the wavier for elite sports doesn’t apply as he was travelling on holiday, not for his job.
Romero Watch Skyte Sports are trying to get back into our good books by reporting that he's ready to fly to London Plane Guy, you know what to do
Calling total BS on this. Why would the club and Kane himself let all this drag on if there was a simple explanation. Plus Spurs "apparently" have said they are disappointed in Kane and are considering fining him, according to reports, which, if he is isolating surely they cannot do. I doubt he would allow his name to be sullied to protect his "medical status". nothing embarrassing about having to isolate. If it was Herpes I could understand him being quiet.
