Might as well get the ball rolling early. What a day it will be.

Indeed. Pity it's a late kick-off because of Sky.

    Is it 5:30pm?

Yes, 5:30, really bad time. He who pays the piper calls the tune. I expect there will be some sort of opening of the Alan Curbishley stand, and the great man will be there.

Being self employed you don’t go sick unless you really are and you take work whenever you can :emoticon-0148-yes:

At the transport division of Royal Mail, if you didn't take your sick allocation off during the year, the union rep would come round and want to know the reason why. In those days it was grossly overmanned and things have changed now. I used to use my sick week for decorating.

“The Valley is going cashless ahead of the 2021/22 season in order to improve the speed of service at the stadium on a matchday and to reduce the need for staff and supporters to handle cash.

Contactless card payments will be introduced throughout the stadium, providing supporters with a simple, efficient and hygienic purchase process when buying food, drinks, tickets and merchandise at The Valley.

Supporters are advised that cash will no longer be accepted inside the stadium, however, fans will still be able to purchase the club’s matchday programme, Valley Review, outside the venue using cash.

The club shop went cashless from Monday, July 27th and the stadium will be cashless for the club’s opening game of the 2021/22 season against Sheffield Wednesday.”

I like cash - you can budget what your spending and know when you’ve had enough - not liking this at all :emoticon-0145-shake

Just the way it's going. AS long as they don't want bitcoins it's OK.
