Rather unnecessary, isn't it? I think you may be right that Burge wasn't offered a new deal but if you think you're right when someone offers an opposing view to yours, its better to politely offer proof rather than accuse them of lying.

 

"rate" is such a subjective thing

Is Burge the best keeper in the world? Nowhere near
Does he have faults? Yes, many of them
Do League One players have faults? Yes
Do the "majority of Sunderland supporters" accept that players at this level will have faults? Yes

Some people seem to think we are still in the Premier League

lads, you have different opinions on burge, we accept that as the thread was started as a rough guage of current thinking regarding the keeper...no one asked for 'rights and wrongs' but adding a little bit to show why you feel as you do is fine...but please stop the arguments as there is no right or wrong here just opinions.
