Jockey seemed rather pleased on Zain Claudette there. I think Sandrine needs 7F now. Outside World never really got out in front and she folded tamely.

I wouldn't be overly hopeful for Sandrine as a Guineas filly after that and she was pushed to 20/1 for the Classic.

What is everyone thinking about Snowfall?
Very tempting to take her on with Wonderful Tonight or Eshada.

The 3.00 York is a wide open affair where several of the fancied ones have high draws.

At a price I sided with Baashir at 10/1 from box 1. The Hills horse won last time in nice enough fashion and as a 7F horse he should have the pace for this York mile.

I was on Magical Morning last time and he moved into a promising position but then quickly faded as if something were amiss. His form was tied to winner Maydanny that day and clearly didn't run his race.

Astro King was lame when running poorly last time and Ametist was another who had a bad day at the office after a winning run.

Tricky but I went with Baashir as the Hills yard are in decent form.

    3.00 York Baashir 10/1

The 4.10 race sees one of my previous selections Neptune Legend try for another Nursery win. He seemed suited by making the running last time and will probably try the same tactic today. Mr McCann has a high mark but has been keeping strong company and is the class horse saddled with 9st 7lb

I decided to go with the Class and Mr McCann at 12/1. RF with Neptune Legend

I know I said it about Sandrine but I think Snowfall won’t get beaten here.
She has got a 3 year old fillies allowance, has top class form, likes it at York v Wonderful Tonight who would prefer it softer and who also wasn’t that impressive at Goodwood last time out.

That’s just what one of the owners said in the interview about Escobar, if not today, will be very soon.

    Just got back.
I thought Probert was too happy with himself and should have driven her a furlong earlier. She probably need 7f.

Harrow got me out of trouble. Portfolio a disappointment. Stick to 10f.

Southwell have just got rid of sand, York should do the same.
