Well the changes seem to have steadied the ship but still lacking any sort of cohesion today

 

We seriously need one back before the break !!!

 

We look a bit better, which isn't saying a lot.......

 

Charlie running around with all the vigour of a pensioner on puff !

 

I think this shows our squad is a bit thin, injuries and suspensions could be costly...

 

Well that was embarrassing...so glad I decided to extend my isolation by a day and not go.

Ball and Uncle have made things a bit more solid...but damage is done.

Austin does not look the part...so we will not get anything back.

to make 2 subs in first half indicates how poor the performance is. However, the team have made two long journeys to Hull and Middlesborough.

I think we’re actually missing Dykes up front to bully their centre halves a bit today. Not winning anything in the air up front and being bullied out of possession in front of our own goal. Have to look to midfield to sort this one out - would love Derry & Faurlin in this one.

 

First live game in yonks l’ve seen of the team and their playing poorly. Dam it’s disappointing.

Can only hope we do a ‘Constanza’ in the second half.

 

Dire, but Barnsley playing some lovely football against our statues. Their number 10 very good.

Warbles could have substituted anyone to be fair, but Thomas certainly has little to offer and on this showing Dozzell not much more. At least Ball makes things look slightly more secure.

Still, it could easily have been 4, still in it, just

 

I didn't expect much from today with the injuries and the tricky schedule in the last week and the way Barnsley play, but even with low expectations that is a very disappointing half of football.

 

With 36% possession they've had 8 attempts on goal 3 on target.....

We're being given a bit of a run around.......

 

Must be hard all that traveling in luxury coaches

 

Not a good 1st half by the R’s.

Rather toothless in attack. A dysfunctional midfield and disorganised in defence.

We improved with the two substitutions, but still not being threatening.

We will need to really turn it around to even get a draw!

 

Agree with this Ubes.....Chaz not really offering too much up top and nothing sticking allowing the midfield to break forward.....

 

Lots and lots of things wrong today. Ive heard a better atmosphere and more noise at the local park. Thomas is league 2 standard at his very best. The balance and set up was all wrong to start with. Its taken 2 goals to realise and change it. This game could have been so different with less disruption by just playing Dunne. I really am scratching my head at Warbles over this. Every bit of play down the left has to go backwards as kakay is right footed. Every bit if play down the right has to go backwards cos Thomas is crap. Hes changed it so lets hope its a positive 2nd half as that was a qpr performance of old.
