I think we're on the road back up now.
Players will come and go but it's nice to see us getting Good quality through the door now rather than plodders/journey men/ fillers.

Positivity breeds success and I'm onboard :emoticon-0148-yes: :D

I fookin hate arl that buzzword shìte but I'm gerrin pìssed <laugh> <cheers>

Some would argue that they were providing positive encouragement...
    ...and it worked :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Personally I hope that this is a sign that serious foundations are being laid and that the club is well and truly on the way back, it may take a little time but I'd rather things were done right than quickly.

i think he has learned a lot from third division football already, still raw and still making one or two 'wrong' decisions but has not been fazed at all and unlike many we have tried in the past, i have no worries when he is on the pitch...i would say give him a couple of months and it will be like he was born into this division.

Just a thought, but by giving these kids games is there a chance that we progress and they want to come back?

If we had the right mentality of youngster that wants to play each week, rather than sit in the u23 we could become a monster of a club where top young players see the chance of week in weeks games rather than sitting behind 3 or 4 senior pros.

Take Cirkin as the example, he wants to play first team football, so moves here and has 2 maybe 3 seasons playing first team games. We improve up the leagues and he improves as he gets more experience, then he gets a move to the big 6 and we get lots of money.

Or, even better we improve and can afford to keep him
Nothing like a bit of confidence

I think there’s a chance we see that. The players we are getting in for League One, where they are coming from, well it shows the club is still seen as some kind of force and that players see the potential.

Huggins and Cirkin being permanent, when neither was shown the door by really top clubs, just screams that the recruitments guys are speaking of the clubs vision and players are buying in.

Even Evans, sure he would have had Championship offers, we know Broadhead did.

Strikes that the things we don’t see, the behind the scenes, the plans, the clear path back out of the wilderness are really impressing these lads. Everyone else is signing players that have always been around this league or lower to mid table Championship, we are pulling rated youth lads from a massive club like Spurs and a Bielsa managed club.

When you sit back and really, really weigh it up it’s staggering. We are 3 years a nothing league and people want to be here. The magnificent support season to date is not half helping as well, feels like there’s a massive mood change in the SOL, could be just after being locked out, could be the majority allowing themselves to believe this time is different.

It’s such a great place to be, it doesn’t feel like there’s anything that hasn’t got a plan in place.

Nobody’s complaining about not having a ****ing letter in their season card now, that’s for sure.
