    A lot of the stuff I enjoy in life is free, or not very expensive.

    Look up the amount of rich hot celebs with everything killed themselves or self-destructed or had miserable lives for plenty of it.

    Money can save you from a lot of things, except yourself.

    You’ve all missed the point. £1m in cash could provide most people with genuine time & money freedom i.e. enough not to have to spend your time chasing cash, whilst having enough to never worry about it.

    You can blow it all, or save it to make yourself more free to do as you wish and not be held to randsome by employers and landlords and ****.

    This is exactly why I save. Control and freedom.
