That's not true . The trust is a voice for the fans as the allam controlled supporters club isnt.
Geoff and the others tried their best to improve relations by getting the allams to change their minds on some aggressive and disrespectful decisions. The fact that they have changed these policies( for now) is thanks to the work the trust did.
However, change some of the policies they have.
We know that's more about them and their pockets, but that's life I'm afraid. If we want a club, we need to support it.

Geoff literally gave the Allams an Allam out scarf during a meeting. 2

The recent pass prices and return of concessions are down to falling attendances.

He really embarrassed himself there. Shame he appeared to have done job until then.

Who cares what the reason is it’s still better for a fan to come and watch.

Even then howden, i thought it was a poorly executed attempt on lightening the situation.
As usual if the allams could smile once in a while and not take themselves so seriously they could gave laughed that off. It would have won them a lot of admiration

Anyway. I'm driving tomorrow so no beer today.
Will i be tempted to drink the slop they call bitter in order to numb the frustration of the offside flag

I agree...... But we all know what the allams are like and we all know that it wouldnt have gone down well at all.

the same could be said on the other side of the fence, why can't people just laugh off / ignore the stupid comments/ramblings of a very old man or his son that they don't like?

Both sides could have and should have done things a lot differently over the years ( more so the allams ) and maybe just maybe we would be in a much better space

I'm not absolutely certain but I seem to recall OLM saying that they did laugh at the time?

Apologies in advance if I'm gibbering..

    It deffo is.

But let's not kid ourselves, the Allams only started to 'care' about fans once parachute payments dried up and gate revenue began to account for a much larger percentage of our income

True and any owner would be exactly the same
We’re paying less now than for nearly twenty years! The last I can recall it was about 450 I think for me in 2005
Does that mean Adam didn’t care back then as we were doing well?

The prices are great but they've still not enticed people back.

Adam puts loads of effort into building the fan base, obviously the new ground had a huge effect too but we were a club on the up.

Sadly there aren't many owners like Adam around.

I decided to stay in Leicester. Going away early tomorrow and need today to get everything sorted. Mind you they will count me as being there seeing as I bought a membership.

Because they don’t do enough to entice people back.
Adams good at pr but he was in an enviable position with a new stadium and a winning team
In effect after years of **** we were flat track bullies.
Problems that appeared later were Adam did nothing for the infrastructure of the club with the youth set up. I mean we were playing non league clubs in the youth set up ffs

If I remember right the scarf was given on behalf of another group whe weren't invited to the fans meeting. At the time the allams took it like it was intended, a light hearted joke, May have been based on the allams themselves claiming they were also allam out.
It was only later when they used it as weapon to attack the trust and Geoff himself

    It’s called been professional mate
They won’t let their guard down in the meeting but will have been angry afterwards. it was a stupid thing to do and if he doesn’t regret it he’s an idiot.
