    Don't forget to mention the station name, it should be radio North East not what it is, if it wants to cover Sunderland. Lots of people do not listen to the station cos of its name.

    Driving back from the match several years ago I got on the post match follow up and asked Gary if he thought the name should be changed...the presenter stopped him answering... so its an ongoing topic..

    <laugh><laugh>I do this in various meetings! Not always ftmisms but always have a theme. I’d I’m meeting with a mag I always do it!! Once had a meeting with a woman who scarily looks like Steve Tyler from Aerosmith. Me and my boss had to get as many Aerosmith songs into the text as we could. Nearly blasted a laugh when my boss said “well you know those project managers, they don’t wanna miss a thing”

    Remember going to a meeting in Maidenhead to see a new feed mill, at the end of the meeting the Chairman of the company asked if there were any questions, my mate said we are going out tonight while we are down here could I borrow your shoes. It wend dead quiet then everybody burst out laughing, bloody idiot.<laugh>

    Well done janey having the courage to speak on national radio and speaking well. My daughter used to present radio shows, and I admire people who have the balls to broadcast conversations live, with all the pressure that brings. I wouldn't be able to do it.
