I’d agree it’s pointless calling others for going or not going. It won’t change anyone’s mind. However I disagree it invariably starts with someone saying they’re boycotting. More recently it often starts with people bemoaning the lack of crowds and the fact that if people weren’t boycotting, or at least saying they’re boycotting to avoid that challenge, crowds would be bigger…Ehab doesn’t care you’re boycotting etc. Keep your eye out. I genuinely think that’s how they mostly start. Fairly boring, sometimes relevant though so can’t always be avoided.
i agree, its same on twitter. you get loads of people putting tweets like, wish people would stop slating our new signing before we have even signed him ffs , and another 200 people jump on that bandwagon and put something else . when only 1 or 2 people might have put something vaguely negative to start with. so i get more annoyed with those people instead of the original 2
It does seem to be getting a bit strained on here lately doesn't it. Let's remind ourselves that we're all on the same team
I agree. My polite enquiry as to whether you'd consider going again was genuinely from a place of thinking you must miss it, but you've clearly got your reasons so hope we can all move on and look forward to exciting transfer news later in the day - well maybe just some transfer news!
According to The72, Ipswich might be looking at Smallwood again after showing interest early in the window.
My Pompey supporting pals are hearing the same. Strangely, they are quite excited as he scored a wonder goal for Gillingham at Fratton.
He carries significant baggage and in my opinion would be a disruption to any dressing room. He's a good striker though.
