Fully agree. Proved it everywhere he has went. When he went you Juventus, apparently his medical report came back on par with a 21 yearold athlete. Even at 50 percent the player he was 10 years ago, marjourity of the Premier league couldn't lace his boots.
Well well well. Been driving back from Blackpool today so missed most of this but just caught up on the last 14 pages. I think this window has to rank with some of our best in recent memory. We’ve gone about our business in a calm, professional manner and havent panicked despite some of our fans properly panicking. now it’s down to LJ and his team to work this team into a title winning one and on the evidence of the last 5 games I think we can do it. haway the ****ing lads. oh and big thanks to the ITKs for keeping us sane during this window. You know who you are you guys deserve a beer or two for your efforts.
Thank **** for that, I've finally caught up on this thread! Been under the weather and was asleep from 6pm this evening and woke up about an hour ago. What a transfer window, really buzzing - would have been nice to have everything done by the end of July but things don't work that way in real life and it does make for an exciting time on window closure day. Ha'way now and get promotion sewn up for us by Christmas so then we can concentrate on winning the FA Cup!
I have enjoyed this day. It’s been grand. Glad I had no guests or work cos I’ve been like a teenage girl glued to my phone all day
Exactly mate. It's minutes after the end of the window and some of the biggest clubs in Europe are scrambling around kicking the fax machine ... ... those who claimed we were hopeless, and dragging our feet, don't have a clue tbh.
many are saying that this window ranks as one of the best the club have had...now, taking into consideration the many factors previous to this window, at least ten years of being ran by idiots (apologies to Mr Short who at least tried but failed with his staff choices) at least 6 years of severe cost cutting, remember the staff being sacked and 'bain's project', the fact that the new regime have had very little time to change things around but have accomplished so much, the 'keeping the cards close to the chest' approach, the quality that has been brought in despite a limited budget/wage restrictions and the improvements that have been made/started right across the board and i have to say this window is going to take some topping so for the sheer amount of work that has gone into it i reckon this is the best ever.
