Their stadium is awesome though, been to see a few games there because I live right near it. Funny though watching a club with a 30k stadium and hardly any fan, they barely fill half of it per game. It was packed when Chelsea went to play there in the FA Cup.
Yeah, it's a Premier League stadium and they got IKEA and Asda to pay for it. I think that they can easily expand it too, though they don't have any reason to right now. Maybe you can groundshare with them while you knock down and rebuild Stamford Bridge? We played a game there in the League Cup as a home match, bizarrely. Didn't go out of principle.
Yeah there is an extra blank tier at the top so they can expand it to 38,000, should the need ever arise. Will be a long time before thats needed I think I'd love for Chelsea to play there for a season if they ever get round to the SB re-development, its like 10 minutes from my house
The most technically gifted in our shirt (playing regularly) was Riyad Mahrez ... he doesn't have devastating pace but he does possess the balletesque balance that Cryuff, Best and Messi had/have that enables (enabled) them to glide past baffled opponents ...
Each era is a different game. Heck, I've seen my dad's leathery old balls. His balls have a seam on them too... Today's stars would fall over dead if they got hit in the face with the seam of my dad's balls. Takes a different type of talent to play with the heavy slugger balls of yore compared to the softer balls of today. Ronaldo and Messi's balls are much softer than Pele's balls. They're much easier to control. In Pele's day it took more talent to stick your balls exactly where you want them. If today's stars tried kicking Pele's balls with their dainty shoes they'd probably break an ankle. At the same time, Pele would probably have a heart attack trying to run as much in a game as today's stars do. Today's stars are much better athletes. Pele would probably have laps run around him by Stoke's U21 team. Pele would suck today and Ronaldo would be doing a whole of lot of sucking if he could travel back to the seventies. Different game and you can only compare people from the same era.
Special Dispensation FC getting a run for their money here like. As usual it’s all about the dirty dollars.
Uncanny... he has been described as a floater, or something similar, on several occasions ... Mystic Munse is in the house
****ing good lad Milk, sense of humour and knows a bit about football. Yeah he supports Liverpool but not everyone can have a good start in life.
Lol, I know we're **** mate, but we ain't that ****ing desperate Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier, 28, would be open to a move to Arsenal after terminating his contract at Tottenham on deadline day. (Sky Sports)
