If only we had a player with endless energy who could overlap Harrison all game and score 21 goals for us. Surely no one would constantly knock him ...................

 

I only got to watch the first half. That Liverpool side will destroy many better teams than us. It didn't help losing Llorente early but they were at it up front and Van Dijk is back to sort out the defence.
Never ever a sending off as everyone has said.
Sometimes they're just too good, like Manure were. That team must be worth 10 times what ours is and they were very up for it.
Their full backs killed our out ball which always makes us struggle.
Unless Cooper got much worse second half his lynch mob are just hating him again. To give him a 3 is ridiculous.

 

I hold my hands up, I felt Costa, Poveda and Alioski were our weakest links. I probably never appreciated Alioski enough but I did say his last 4-5 games for us were the best I’d seen him play at LB.

With Raphinha and Harrison I didn’t feel the urgency for replacing a wide player but I was fed up seeing us lose Dallas in the middle to cover for Alioski when he was not defending. I thought Alioski was okay if we were happy with finishing just below the bottom half but it was a position that needed strengthening.

In fairness we haven’t strengthened though, we’ve brought someone in that looks like another Costa, he looks lost and weak in all areas, he shows maybe a 5 minute glimpse of decency.

If Alioski had remained a squad player he’d be back in playing at LB it would still be a weak area but not as bad as it seems now. I’m equally as concerned though about the likes of Ayling, Dallas and Harrison looking a shadow of what we expect and the ongoing saga of an out of position Rodrigo being continuously hauled off for Roberts and Llorente with his proneness to injuries, Koch another

 

Good post and completely agree Cooper looked out of his depth as I have said many times I give him a 2 captain non inspirational , previously named captain calamity.

I won't disagree with that , although Cooper does it more consistently.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm not enjoying football and the way it's gone. From commentators apologising for swear words, SKY Sports muting the sound when there is swearing in the chants from the crowd, all the politics and kneeling crap, good tackles being rewarded with red cards etc etc. Why not ban tackling and crowd chants. I laughed when someone said footballs becoming a non contact sport, but it's getting like that, Truely pissed off at the moment.

Because of Bielsa s stance in the past on appealing refs just think we are fair game

 

I’m convinced Bielsa won’t appeal it but if he finds out the two of you would fall out about it he might change his mind

 

I'm getting that way too, more reffing decisions and authorities for me, seems so much stuff that's unjust,Struijk gets sent off for that, Barnes 2 footed off the floor assault, yellow only,that is bad enough but it's even worse when it's the same ref in the same game with the inconsistencies, Man City last season for one.
My moods not helped by not being able to get tickets for games now either.

 

I know Essex, are todays generation that sensitive.

 

The only thing regarding tickets is if we were ever relegated(I hope not) a lot of the band wagon jumpers will disappear, making tickets easier to get.
