I think worrying about whether or not we can get good Turkish players here is getting way ahead of ourselves, and doesn't matter anyway.
Wow! Did you really 'say' that? They are complusive liars; both of them. We've had near 11 years of next to nothing but lies & BS from them!
I agree, what do you expect him to say to the Turkish press when a Turkish man is investing in a business in another country? He wants to try and build the clubs profile there to try and sell more shirts. I’d be very surprised at any owner that puts nationality over success, he’ll want to get into the Premier League I’d imagine.
From the horses mouth. Every time either of them open their gobs. As the old joke goes ... how do you know they are lying ... (well, you know the rest).
Sounded like a long term aspiration when you look at that particular statement within the whole context. I doubt we'll see a sub- parTurkish coach and a raft of Turkish players coming in regardless of ability. First and foremost he wants success.
Might encourage some of Hull's Turkish population to support the club, I believe there are a fair few in the area.
It's fair idea. From Springbankistan, it's only a five minute walk to the MKM Stadium. Yes I know I'm going to get in trouble for that, but come on, it's only a joke.
Be ironic if the Turkish community come out in numbers to support the club whilst the locals stay away.
Looks like there'll be more away supporters than home on Saturday, they've sold their allocation (all ticket their end) so there will a a few more in the City ends, no doubt.
