Yeah thats exactly the reaction we used to look for. Aside from the swearing as you couldnt do it on old 606.

 

It was funny. Despite doing it on a regular basis there was always some people who didn't seem to understand it was a joke and would get exasperated with you trying to point out everything wrong in the line up.

 

loved (and hated) the old 606 - so many angry people about.

Under Vieira is there a different style emerging, will he go for his Celtic buy nobody else wanted?

Guaita (good keeper imo, under rated)
Ward Guehi Andersen Mitchell (not great is it? anderson is massive but that s no use agaisnt us. this is where they struggle)
Gallagher Kouyate McArthur (gallagher is the most interesting as they robbed him off west brom, this is his 4th chelsea loan now. kouyate is a good lad but not going to pass it about)
Ayew Edouard Zaha (genuine threat here, lot of pace)

the way i see this is that palace have had 4 sighters but I don't see a great deal of consistency there yet. We really should beat them well but it will come down to taking the actual chances as usual. their last two results show some fight so we need to ensure 100% we are giving them no hope and let their heads drop.

Chelsea hammered them 3-0 on opening day

west ham draw 2-2 (were losing and a crazy 3 mins rutned it to 2-2 with the cheslea lad scoring 2 form midfield.
Spurs 0-0 until the spurs lad got sent off. It took nearly 20 mins until they got a pen v 10 men and then it all goes mad and its 3-0 at the end, two quick sub goals.



I see this as similar to leeds but not as easy. Why? first job is nullify their wingers by cutting off the passing channels. Second job is to break that defence as until leeds with don't do 1 on 1 defending.

Just keep possession, sorted

 

I've never seen a 100% possession stat.

I think the best i've seen is 90% when we were playing some semi pros someplace.

say we have 70% possession as has happened. that give those wingers 30% of the 90mins (less all the time the ball is out of course) then we have to nullify them sometime.

Hopefully we will get a nice good start to hockey these lads and we can cruise the last 30mins.
