Firstly I’m not a poodle you need to chill the **** our it’s a forum and without debate and different opinions it’s dead.
He lost two players in the January transfer window. So what? Are you're admitting that McCann is that **** of a coach that two players carried him and the rest of the squad for months and as soon as they left, he was exposed as being inept in the Championship?
Because I post what I believe in I have to 'chill' ? I'd turn that around and suggest that some of you joining in the witch hunt against Grant McCann should be a bit more realistic and measured with your views.
'So what' It was our leading goal scorer and our second leading goal scorer, the two biggest assets in the team, and the source of more then three quarters of all our goals. That's a bit more then 'so what' What a stupid response.
Firstly I’m pretty sure I’ve shown you respect on this forum. Secondly as someone who goes to every ****ing game home and away I’ll say what I want
Who is saying you shouldn't ? You asked me why I back McCann and I gave you my reasons ? Some of the stuff posted against our manager isn't reasonable argument at all. It's nothing more then personal abuse, and those posting it know who they are. And you're the one telling me to chill ???? We support the same club.
Losing your two best players in January is maybe the difference between finishing in the play-offs and finishing mid-table. It's not an excuse to finish rock-bottom with 1 win in 21 and losing 8 - 0 to another team that got relegated. If senior players 'downed tools' during a relegation dogfight, then whose responsibility is that? The man in charge of the squad perhaps? All I'm hearing is excuse after excuse why the 2019-20 season was anything but the manager's fault. It's delusional.
They've been sacking managers constantly for years and it's got them to where they are now. Good for them indeed.
Apparently they’ve got rid of all the top earners and gone down the youth route Chris Hughton is a good football manager and a decent bloke too He’s well out of that place
Sorry mate but a bloke who sticks to a system despite it failing miserably, who can't see the obvious in front of him, who has been through this before and made the same mistakes, but is either too stubborn or too thick to realise it aint working doesn't deserve anything other than what is being said here. It isn't panic, it's about being realistic, him and his assistant have been found out, then to Come.out in interviews and hide behind the crap he spouts by blaming everything other them himself is p1ss poor. I'd have more respect for him if he came out, held his hand up and said the buck stops with me I got it wrong, but he is incapable of such humility. Week in week out I see interviews with managers who's side have been turned over and the better managers take responsibility.. he never has, yet when he is questioned about it like proper sports journalists do he spits his dummy out and gets arsey.
Because it's part of an ongoing trend, or do you only view things in absolute isolation without context?
