I don’t get how people can say you can’t keep bringing 2020 up, course you can if debating if a manager is good enough for this level and that was last time he tried it. I think people have nailed their colours to whatever side of the argument , and does seem quite repetitive now. I do understand why the loyalists get frustrated with what they perceive as constant negativity , but one or two do act like you’re scared of getting your Hull city pack up box confiscated and kicked out the greatest supporter group , if you utter anything slightly negative , which I find equally frustrating . But I’m sure we are all hoping for a tactical masterclass and a 3-0 win Saturday
I don’t have to answer any of your questions my actions supporting this club is all I need to show. You was busy and couldn’t make Blackburn.
Few clubs face the apathy and hostility in their own city like we do and have done over the years. Last thing we need is weak-minded people adding their voices to the chorus of ****s.
Not sure what me not being at the game has to do with anything, but you just carry on rambling if it helps you
Hi Canda don’t you think saying ‘he’s lapping up the ride ‘ is insulting to him , do t you think he’s not trying to do his best ? That he’s just ripping us off ? maybe I’ve misunderstood your phrase but that looks to me what it says
... or a tactical masterclass that still ends up in a defeat, Not that I want us to lose (obvs), but at least it would give us a glimmer of hope that McCann can adapt. At the moment there isn't even a glimmer as his approach is near enough groundhog day every time we play.
Didn’t we play differently at Blackburn to Plymouth certainly looked it and look what we got - personally I’m not sure what we should do so far
That was the worst thing about that other season we aren’t allowed to mention , people can talk about downing tools etc , but week after week doing same old thing without Bowen and Grosicki there to carry us , instead of thinking my side has been considerably weakened how can I battle through and scrape the 2-3 ugly wins i need. Maybe we need to give more credit to the league 1 title in the middle but many of us just cannot forget that shambles , I can’t forget how Byrne thought it was appropriate to make jokes about Burnsy not been there to interview him after one of the most humiliating defeats in our history ( I know that’s not McCann but they are a pair ) , so rightly or wrongly it doesn’t take much more than no goals in 6 to reignite that anger and frustration and think here we go again . I don’t revel in negativity , I hate feeling this way about it
Nope, not as far as I can see. Same old 4 3 3 of course! If I remember right, it was a very good performance v Plymouth (some good early saves from Ingram, or was it Long) and some good finishing from us. The only differences McCann makes is how deep the front 3 sit, and how deep a 2nd of the midfield 3 sit (alongside the 'sitting' midfielder). Really really limited variation within the same old 4 3 3
Ladies and gents while it's always enjoyable to debate these things and we all have differing opinions regarding in or out let's not forget at the heart of it we are all Hull City fans and only want the best. So let's argue til our hearts content but save the personal stuff, name calling etc wasn't the reason this thread was started, it was to gather opinions on whether we would like to see a new manager at the helm. Some good points both for and against so I thank you for your contributions so far, but let's keep it civil, thanks.
as someone who goes to every ****ing game home and away Respect to you for that. Its music to my ears. Beats hearing why people are staying away.
