I think we need to win it comfortably. Not necessarily with loads of goals, but without the mad, blood pressure boosting stress that we seem to specialise in chasing games. That’s not the form of true promotion candidates.

Couldn’t agree more. We do need to take the positives from the Bournemouth game, but we need to show we can ‘own’ a whole game and take a well-controlled win and nicely pack away 3pts.

I see today is Warburton‘s 100th league game in charge of the Rs. As those of you that are familiar with my assessment of the manager over the past few years will know, I always knew he’d come good…

It has been really interesting that one of his biggest criticisms was that he had no plan B and couldn’t change things around. Yet he has done that on numerous occasions now to create a team that can alter and fight back. Fair play to him to have looked at himself and changed his approach. Certainly to this club and teams advantage. He seems to have a trusted team around him too. Hope he manages to achieve yet more and gain some honours at ‘the bush’.

Johansen (who is not in form) is managing the midfield by himself today. Not sure how that's going to go down today.

    True.

The potential weakness is the near absence of defensive midfielders. Fields is injured and Ball is not in the starting eleven.

I guess that strategy will be too “outshoot” then for goals.

Could be a very exciting game.

    Hope it will be enjoyable!

Good grief, that's incredibly attacking. Even more-so than usual. Could go either way I reckon!!

Exciting line up, very glad we need to be offensive from the start this week.

    There's offensive and downright suicidal.
Looks like 5-3-2 to me, with Chair and Willock ahead of Johansen in the midfield 3.
Not sure which one that line up will result in, but hopefully we'll dominate from the start and take our chances. Or....Warburton will make early changes as we get swamped in midfield. Hopefully not the latter.

Ball was awarded the 1st goal at Reading by the Dodgy Goals Panel or something or other, after it was originally given as an own goal. Left out of the start 11 today.

For me he is too slight and too skillful.

A waste of our no.10 in my opinion.

But we will soon find out what MW has in mind.

    Enjoy the match!
