Well, what a comeback? shame we didn't start the three subs, at least we get a well-earned point, but I hope the players remember the hostility they recieved here today when Luton visit the Liberty...........
Shock horror we scored three and could have won it at the death....but why leave it until half time to see the problem. Listening to radio Wales Toshack junior knew how Luton we’re going to play but it seemed that RM didn’t.....great result in the end
Well well well I bugger off at 3 - 0 and come back now to find it's 3 - 3 I really, really hope Martin is learning from this. It can't just be pure luck he makes some subs and turns it around. Surely he knew what he was doing?
Good point but why are we 3 down before we get there. Was at penrhiwceiber watching a ardal cup game and couldn’t believe what I was reading. But a good point in the end. We need to do better. But after the piss poor start take a pint but why can’t we do it from the start.
Only caught glimpses on what happened to Manning but all in the club thought how is it not a red. Can someone tell me please
Towards the end of today’s Championship fixture against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, an allegation of racial abuse was made over comments made towards Swansea City’s Rhys Williams from a home spectator. An official report was filed with the match official, Tony Harrington, and Bedfordshire Police at full-time. Swansea City condemns racism and abuse of all kinds because it has no place within football or any walk of life. The club would like to place on record its thanks to both Bedfordshire Police and Luton Town Football Club for their swift response at the end of the game. Bedfordshire Police has launched a full investigation into the incident. Officers have been to the ground to carry out enquiries and are working with Luton Town to identify the people involved. Rhys has the full backing of everyone at the football club and we are in dialogue with his parent club Liverpool with regards to ensuring the player has all the support he needs. Swansea City will continue to work with the relevant authorities on this matter.
There is a feeling generally that since the return of fans there are some nasty occurences happening all over the country with verbal abuse and fighting on terraces and outside grounds....is there another virus prevelant in some fans that has started to cause difficulty in having normal banter? Earlier in the season there was fighting aft the Macclesfield v Congleton game where there must have been only a few hundred fans present... I hope it is a short term problem
Thinking back on the way the game went could it be that the players did not keep playing Martins style in the second half though he congratulated them for their performance? Or is it now obvious to him that there can be a plan b?
Well it must be obvious to him that he needs to be flexible re having options. We were better with 2 up top rather than having a lone striker isolated and chasing shadows.
Just hoping we do a reverse of last season where we stormed it till xmas then wheels fell off most of 2nd half after xmas ?
