Isn't he employed on a year to year basis? In which case he'd be due 9 months wages or therabouts?

Very much depends on his wage but if Allam were to give him the boot then surely the Turks would have to foot the bill?

One thing that concerns me about Greaves is physicality. He’s tall but he’s a long streak of piss and easily bullied by ****house forwards like Billy Sharp, who’s a midget.

Billy Sharp is the type of player you love to hate - but at the same time you realise even at his age, he has far more to offer than his equivalents here

Everybody knew that we needed an experienced centre back to play alongside Greaves apart from GM.

At present, it most likely would be instead of Greaves. The kids got a great future, but he's not ready to play week in and out. While he currently learns in our first team it's costing us

Should have been a top priority, another reason Terry at face value continues to play to ehabs tune spouting time and again he appreciates the support he's always claiming

If this "rumour" of a pending purchase has legs, both sides will be aware of McCann's performance and City's current league position. Makes sense for the two parties to calculate his present value and determine an adjustment value to the sale price in a variety of end states based on the closing date of the consummated sale. I suspect 9-12 months severance pay for Terry would be a minor line in the sale agreement. Either side probably could "write it off" without undue strain to their bottom lines.

Bit more than a rumour from what I've heard,HowdenTiger knows far more than I do.

It's possible our current situation may have already been discussed but I think if the buy out goes ahead,McCann is toast...

Must be the potential new owners have a replacement in the wings in that case? The sooner the sale happens, the sooner new on-field management can get on with the job of avoiding the ignominy of relegation.

    Let's hope.

If they're forking out a lot of money on a football club I think they'll be looking a good bit down the road. We've got some good footballers at the Club but it hasn't fired yet(Preston aside)...We can only take it one game at a time at the moment and hope that something clicks? It didn't help the cause yesterday losing Docherty and Huddlestone.

I don't think this fella is investing with a view to let his money sit idle... he will have eyes on the prize and to do that investment at all levels has to be made... as i've said previously, it would all be pointless if you know who is still involved...

Let's hope he doesn't do a Mel Morris at Derby and spunk north of £200m to get his club into admin

Yeah let's hope so ... and let's hope the Allams and McCann aren't here for another 24 hours. Is that what you want?

Obviously we want to be in the pl, I’d settle for a competitive championship side. As long as we can see the board/club pulling in the right direction. Also 15-17k every home game would be good
