True, there’s several factors at play. Manager not good enough for this level, some players not good enough for this level, some players who could be good enough not stepping up to the challenge and no backing in the transfer market for experienced Championship players.

The only player we’ve signed who looks comfortable in this division is Moncur and even he’s a bit of a luxury, flair player who can go missing some games. Everyone else looks like they’re trying to hard to impress but ****ing up the basics.

So just how many thousand of furious boycotters will flood back when the 1st home game under new ownership takes place?

They are many things, but disinterested isn't one of them.
In fact, I wish they were disinterested so that they'd let someone else run it or just walk away.

I'm not a boycotter as such, but I'll for sure be there!

You know obviously that won’t be the case, but I’m sure you’ll happily repost this questioning why it’s not full first game (if that ever happens in my lifetime)
The vast majority of people who don’t now go aren’t boycotting, they aren’t going for a range of reasons including the drip drip of changes which make going not as enjoyable.
There’ll be a few back, but winning back missing fans and getting new ones will take a lot more than a change of ownership. Of course that is still needed for those things to be done IMHO

Well, the narrative has changed then old boy.

A while back it was 'I'm boycotting, I won't given them a penny more' and 'Only away games from now on '

Now it seems you're saying they've all found summat better to do.

Say Johnny Turk, splashes the cash, gets lucky with a manager, and the bandwagon is rolling again, will they still not come back?

I'll certainly be back. I'll try to get my old East Stand seat. It would a nice feeling if some of the people I got to know would still be sat near or around me.

Unfortunately, I suspect this won't happen, as I don't believe for a second a takeover will happen any time soon.

    Fingers crossed all the same.

    Narrative hasn’t changed at all.
You’re confusing some personal views and anecdotes with maths.
How many people have told you they’re boycotting until they’ve gone? A couple of dozen max on here? Maybe a couple more dozen elsewhere?
Feel free to list the ‘thousands’ that have said they’re boycotting until the owners go though and we can tick them off later to see what they actually did

I have to confess here that I don't actually keep a spreadsheet of posters' attending intentions. Perhaps it was just a repetitive, noisy small clique on here who insisted the missing thousands will immediately return come the great day.

Considerable damage has been done to our fanbase by the Allams.
We have a proportion of fickle fans
    Or both.
