I wasnt aware of that. Its used mainly by white africans/aussies/kiwis aimed at black people in my experience.
Taking the word that is used to discriminate, enslave and degrade and "normalising" the word within their own culture. Similar to a gay man referring to another gay man as a queer. Unacceptable to be used in terms of discrimination. Allowable within that culture as a means of normalising the word The word "negrito" (which is what I think you mean) is a Spanish word to describe a black person and is (or should be) seen in the same way as a white person referring to a black person as "negro" - unacceptable but unfortunately still widely used
Kenya is home to 3 million Somali refugees, all Muslim who insult there hosts on a daily basis, they also carry out atrocities against Kenya on a weekly basis, just because it never makes MSM headlines doesn't mean it doesn't happen. The Un promised to help Kenya with the refugees they never did, and they wont go back home due to the chance of having a green card for America like ILhan Omar
Homosexual is still used in the Netherlands to describe those people, both in everyday language and in MSM yet they have Gay pride parades once a year organised by themselves at the governments behest. They also have a tradition when ST Nicholas helpers are called Schwärt Piet where people paint themselves black dress up and go handing treats to kids
I'm not entirely sure, not being South American, but I have read various articles which suggest that the use of that term is much more complicated than that in Latin American society.
no real difference to us and the middlesboro lads... 'mackem' and 'smoggie' were basically derogitory words originally, but both sets of fans took them onboard, mainly to give themselves a seperate identity to 'geordie'. while not racist terms it is the same in principle.
Can honestly say that in the last 41 years i've never heard an Aussie or a Kiwi refer to a black person as Kaffa. It's an Afrikaan term
