Gonna be interesting see what happens with Kane now. Clearly he’s not going to be top levels of motivation after failing to get his move. You’d think would still get goals but has looked poor so far this season. Spurs have to play him as you can’t leave someone you just rejected 100m bid for on the bench, but if he’s detrimental then suddenly becomes a huge problem. ironic they won first 3 games and we didn’t start any of them did he? The two games he’s started both lost to palace and Chelsea? If he moves though his value is going to have plummeted, unless city are struggling for top 4 and go all out for him
Chelsea 3-0 win today mean that Liverpool and Chelsea have the exact same results every game week of the season so far. Chelsea v City 12:30 sat Brentford v Liverpool 5:30 sat So we cheering on Chelsea to ensure we get the win as well?
According to a certain poster on the Spud board it's more to do with the fact that Chelsea are "very defensive" and the ref they had today has reffed Spuds 10 times and they have only won 1. Bent ref and block defensive oppo means 0-3 loss Could have been 0-5 easily
Pep is unfortunately going to have to play some academy players in their home game against league 1 Wycombe mid week because stones rodri Laporte and zinchenko are all out injured. I think city should probably be allowed to sign an emergency defender outside the transfer window. I mean how can anyone be expected to compete in another competition with the limited squad they have, especially in games as tough as the one he has coming up. football just isn’t fair sometimes and until uefa let teams spend unlimited money throughout the whole system, teams like city just won’t be able to compete with teams like Wycombe.
Its not like he didn't also pay for the draw to be rigged to get the easiest possible tie as well. You'd think pep planned all this cheating before hand!
If citeh go out do we try to play in the league cup or do we need cheslea and utd to also go out to then even try a leg? How far can our reserves go in this comp before we throw it? It won't be hard to go out on pens like, 90 mins and then pens right? solid enough midfield and defence but **** forwards. just control a 0-0 then tell kelleher to dive the wrong way. The day we get some dolly cup draws I'll know we are serious and finally paying for the draw to be fixed like city.
