Was there actually anything concrete brought against Southall after he was moved on? Sandgaard bought the club from Nimer as I remember and used a big and expensive law firm to shunt all the ESI crewe to one side. But legally, I don't remember anything to stop any of those characters from moving back into the game and doing the same old stuff. The problem would appear to be that while they act legally in destroying clubs (Bury is the stand out) the EFL are essentially unable to do anything, and as a 25% stake may not be seen as a controlling interest, there is nothing to be done. It's disgraceful really, but you need Thomas Sandgaard level lawyers to block this sort of stuff, and a club like Rochdale probably have Joe Fag-Packet and Sons representing them.
