Upthere over the road saying Patterson is supposed to be going on loan but Burge’s head has gone and wants to leave.
How dare they bring in this German chap?
    Hissy fit.

Suppose if he's picked tomorrow it'll show whether his heart is in this club or not, not long to wait.

Shame for him, decent start to the season and he'll understandably be disappointed. However, form the club's point of view the German looks like a very good signing. Burge just needs to fight for his place now.

The fact we even considered a keeper means Burge was on borrowed time.

The fact we put him straight in means that borrowed time was very short.

Interesting that he was in the team of the year and was still replaced. I think Patterson was preferred too seeing as he kept his place after getting his chance through Burge's injury.

I can understand him being frustrated but any player needs to understand that it's about competing for your place.

Is correct.and rightly so, with a better keeper last season we would have gone up

We’d have stayed up with a decent keeper in our most recent championship season too. It’s a vital position.

More so that season. Never seen 2 or 3 worse keepers at the club that year.

It was absolutely ridiculous <laugh> I know his wages were supposed to be high for that level but if we’d kept Mannone relegation would’ve been avoided.
