Alan Dixon hmmm . I'm sure there'll be interest in the man but that will depend on a number of factors , is it true , whether we go up or not , and is Cooper happy with his lot
Swansea City have announced that they have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace which allows Roy Hodgson’s doppelgänger to take over at Crystal Palace this Summer...
Does Steve feel he has the backing of the club to follow through on his plans to build? Are there any plans, apart from loanees? Will the inevitable "bright(ish) lights" be too alluring?
Would Palace be a good destination for Cooper? Zaha is out of contract in the Summer (I think), so he would have to re-build. Will his ‘young England’ contacts be ready and good enough for the PL? Guehi would be but may not be available as Chelsea may want to use him themselves. Gallagher and Brewster have not exactly shone in the PL as yet. Would they back Cooper in the transfer market? That said, would the Yanks back him if we were to go up?
So many valid questions Taff. If he were to be interviewed by Palace I'm guessing he'd get more "assurances" than he will from the Yanks. And it's the Prem, it just seems like an inevitable head turner.
And Tate has gone there too. That’s the old guard gone then though Curt, Trundle and Leon are around and about. We will now see if clueless was really a good coach but was hindered by our owners....
Sad to see Tate go too. Clearly wasn't valued when he was pushed into the 'overseaing loaned out players' role, like they did with Curts just before he retired. I didn't rate Tate highly but still sad to see him go this way.
Why not with us then ? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...ve-cooper-pledges-attacking-creative-21638834
