Now if you describe the "debt", as a business loan from one company to another within the same group, probably for tax purposes, then I'd say that was reasonably correct.
I said Assem was full of ****, not that you were, I have no doubt he said it, it's just one of the many things he said that was bollocks.
So what is your problem then ? They have put the club up for sale and hopefully someone is interested ? A full stadium and a loyal fanbase might make that sale more possible. I don't think a fanbase that does one when the club stop winning or when someone is misquoted in the media helps, or the insults towards the present owners makes good reading for any potential buyer either.
Presumably meaning the Allams? We haven't needed qoutes from the media, we've heard lies, bullshit, insults, arrogance, time and time again directly out of their own mouths!!!!
I get the impression that your not keen on them ? I've been at odds with virtually every owner the club have ever had since I've supported them. Do you think it was fun watching the club tumble down the Football League ? I can tell you it was horrible. But I do remember every time a new owner stepped up to the plate the first thing they said attracted them to the club was the fanbase. Ours at the moment isn't very impressive. The fans are the club, the owners only have it until they tire of it or balls it up.
It's the fans fault for not being willing to accept the lies, the shocking disrespect of the clubs fans, the downright insults. Oh right then
Stop blaming the fans, plenty, almost all clubs see their support go up and down according to results on the pitch. Even Man city had 17,000 empty seats for their last champions league game because it wasn't attractive enough. Oh and they were bought by the arabs.
You've said yourself that you don't go. So it's hardly shocking to you is it ? They could lie through their teeth all week, telling porkies etc, and I can tell you that it will not mean a thing to those at Stoke on Saturday if City beat them one nil with a last minute own goal. We will be dancing on the terraces with Grant waving to us. You either support the club or you don't.
I think they mean that they don’t take payment for running the club, which in their world will mean that they don’t.
-> I get the impression that your not keen on them ? Correct. I despise them (in relation to 'our' football club). Me and thousands of others. -> I've been at odds with virtually every owner the club have ever had since I've supported them. Do you think it was fun watching the club tumble down the Football League ? I can tell you it was horrible. But I do remember every time a new owner stepped up to the plate the first thing they said attracted them to the club was the fanbase. Ours at the moment isn't very impressive. Yep, I've been there as long as you (give or take) -> The fans are the club, the owners only have it until they tire of it or balls it up Yep. Pity the Allams don't understand, or live by that, instead of pissing thousands off unnecessarily. Pearson built a fanbase, Allams destroyed it. And they tired of it and ballsed it up years ago, but still don't leave (due to their greed, stubbornness, lies, arrogance). .
More to it with games in UEFA competitions. There were empty seats for the league game but no tickets available as every seat had been sold.
Adam Pearson was the perfect example. He told me, and nine others, on the day he took over that he was attracted to the club by the passion the fans showed in wanting to save it.
