He's crazy but in a nice way.. He's also the better boxer by quite a margin, but he's not a heavyweight, didn't look great vs chisora. I think Derek's chins better than Joshuas though.
That reach advantage of Joshua's will be an issue for Usyk. And I think Usyk will either loose due to being hit too much with all the extra weight or get KO'd.
Ruiz could always bang, he was written off as he was a fat ****. Usyk couldn’t put a dent in Chisora over 12, he was losing on points after 6 against Bellew. He’s got bags of stamina and he’s a good boxer, uses his left very well and can land it from all kinds of angles, but he won’t be able to take Joshuas power imo, he won’t have taken anything like it in the bursts that Joshua can deliver. It’s an interesting fight like, and he’s obvs got a chance, but I think the bigger guy wins here.
I think he should have stayed cruiserweight. I don't like how others were saying Chisora vs Usyk was a close fight, I scored it 9-3 Usyk. But if Chisora can catch Usyk, Joshua certainly can. But Usyk's skill + the extra power he will have will be interesting. I cannot bet on this, too much uncertainty.
Fair point. He would have still dominated. I still think Usyk could have had a couple of more fights before this one. If Usyk loses I hope he doesn't retire. I wanna see him against the likes of Whyte.
I think a lot of people might be surprised at how good Usyk is. He’s out weight on for this fight which may take it out of him in the later rounds. AJ needs to watch out early rounds because Usyk will try and close the gap and punch from underneath and AJ what have the space to get his power shots off.
He moved up for the money, plus there was nothing really left for him at cruiser. I think he beat Chisora but I had it closer than 9-3. I remember his post fight interview and he was visibly shocked when talking about the power of Chisora shots. If he’s as a open against Joshua then he’ll be eating canvas within 6/7 imo. You got some good seats? Should be a cracking night like, enjoy.
Not really, right at the back, but apparently there's big screens at each side so doesn't matter. And also I've got binoculars haha.
For me the big man wins. AJ Will box similar to the second Ruiz fight. He’ll jab from distance and Little Man won’t get near him. AJ will need to keep his concentration but I figure he learned a big lesson in his first fight with Ruiz. Usyk won’t have the movement for long because of the extra weight which over the rounds will sap him save for a last round or two surge when he is too far behind on points.
