The quality of these threads is unsurpassed, thake a bow RTB As to the match... Bolton won't sit back so i'm not even considering a clean sheet, 3-1 to the lads (Stewart, Gooch and the Hoff with a kick that bounces over their keepers head)
I think your starting 11 is spot on for this game but as the new players get up to match fitness I suspect that Geads in particular won't play/start every game - LJ has to earn his money now with so many options available and dynamic substitutions will be critical going forward as we more than have the bench to changes games in play.
Yeah the bench will be important We need to continue with this There will be players who miss out however these players can be relied on if required as we have seen We have a great squad much better than last season And that wasn’t a bad squad
Great thread for me personally I’d like to see gooch dropping to the bench and giving someone else a start. But here’s hoping for another home win and plenty of goals Haway the lads
By all accounts Bolton have been giving it a real go this season but I think this will play right into our hands and the players will be desperate to make up for last week Have to stick with my usual 4-1 prediction but I do quite fancy a clean sheet. Saying all that any win will do momentum is everything
Let's hope for a few thousand more on the gate, young side playing exciting football with the best still to come. What's not to like?? Hopefully get our highest attendance this season, The Trotters are sure to bring a few so get along and cheer The Lads back to top spot!!
28200 or so, according to that link over the road. Plus about 2k of them? Should be a great atmosphere.
I'm expecting the same 11 as the last few league games (Flanagan back in), but a few changes for the game on Tuesday.
Theres a lad off the SMB has somehow got a website up which takes the data from the clubs ticketing site and creates the number of tickets sold. https://safcticketing.azurewebsites.net/api/tickets Currently at 28437 - i think this includes corporate tickets but not away fans. Good chance at over 30k i reckon.
Hopefully the fans will now give the club breathing space during windows going forward due to how well we did this one. Understandable at the time as we were short in lots of places but with hindsight we had a cracking window in the end.
Big crowd expected tomorrow, a performance to suite as well, quite possibly from both teams who will be looking to attack. I reckon it's gonna be one hell of a game tomorrow
