James Callaghan, he was Labour Prime Minister in the late 70s. He had been away to some economic forum in the Guadeloupe while rubbish wasn't being collected and bodies not being buried, think known as the Winter of Discontent. Anyway, he came back looking tanned and he was meant to have said, "Crisis? What crisis?" He didn't say it though, just that a paper ran with that headline. He did say something similar though. Anyway, Maggie kicked his hole at the next election thankfully.
