6-pointer at the wrong end of the table? Both sides struggling to find a win means a likely draw in my book. At least we're starting to create chances now and getting shots on target, so our expensive front 3 of Kirk, Stockley and DJ will probably have to bide their time. Midfield? Throw the names up in the air and see what ones come down first. If we don't win the Anti TS and Adkins out brigade(s) will go into overdrive.

I have a feeling the players that were rested midweek will be back today.

Here’s hoping for another start like we did at Priestfield.

It’s been hard to watch recently.

Flip that Butterfield, put MacGillivray up the front and Lee and Davison at the sticks, worth a try.

Another dreadful performance where Portsmouth should have been out of sight by half-time. Htf did Marques miss?<laugh>
Defensively we are a shambles, the rest is not inspiring either.
The Covered End are a disgrace screaming for Adkins to go, they deserve a relegation.

West stand lower towards the away end is very agreeable.
No shouting and screaming, and easy to get refreshments.

Sat in the NW as usual. Very disappointed with the team selection. CBT and Davison should not have been dropped after the way they played on Tuesday, or Purrington, who was solid. And CBT and Davo should have come on much earlier than they did. I don't know what Arter has done to get in the team, his contribution was non-existent, and he was lucky tolast until H/T. Clare did OK when he came on. I actually had Watson as our best midfielder up until then. Do we really have competition for places? If you play well surely that earns you the right to play next game. I also thought Leko was knackered and should have gone off instead of Lee, who was still fullof running. I haven't been calling for Adkins to go, but ha'e me doots aboot him.

At least all the goals were very good. Portsmouth's second, a counter-attack through the middle, is the sort of goal we aren't capable of unless our midfield improves.

    Well, I enjoyed it.
Apart from the barracking of our players and manager after 10 minutes.

Portsmouth spent time in League Two. Did their fans ever turn on their own team like that?
    I doubt it.

Yes, we had problems today. But we fought back too. I joined in the applause at full time <applause>

Agree with pretty much all of that FHB.

We should not be seeing Arter again for a while.
A few scary moments from Pearce, but some good play too.
I imagine some of Adkins' other changes are about trying to rotate the squad with weekday/weekend/weekday fixtures. Not saying he's getting it right, just that it's maybe his objective.

The wisdom at the moment is that Sandgaard will give Adkins until Christmas.
I'm really not sure if NA is going to be able to turn things around. For the first time at the Valley yesterday we heard chants wanting him out - albeit not sustained abuse. The "f**king sh*t" chant was very depressing though. A couple of fans sitting close to me in the lower west protested when they heard it. Not welcome at all.

I posted earlier (after 7 matches I think) that I wanted Adkins to have turned things around by the end of the 10th game.
Well, we have drawn our last two. If we can beat Bolton on Tuesday evening I guess he will have delivered, albeit a minimum requirement.
I know Elfs is giving NA 15 games before passing judgment.

Pity - I was hoping to get to the Valley on Tuesday but I have work commitments.
It'll be the first home L1 match that I've missed this season.

The midget's view at the moment is that things are not looking too rosy.
A bottom ten finish is my initial prediction. The defence is as strong as tescos own brand teabag.

Think we need to have a bit more consistency with the team other than bloody Watson , what’s happened to Kirk?

Surely Old Ben won't start again on Tuesday? 2 full games a week for a 36-year-old would be a bit silly.

I don’t like him starting 2 full games a season if I’m honest, I was hoping he was only there because of the “clause”
