Fair enough, mate. Too happy to argue about it <laugh>

I thought we were right under the cosh in that second half and rode our luck.

Well, that was a lot harder than it needed to be <laugh>

Happy with the win, we weren't at our best but we march on to Tuesday

Cirkin was brilliant, Winchester (bar one moment late on) was excellent and has probably ran a marathon during that game.

When we calm down and look at the highlights we'll see that neither team were comfortable, both rode their luck and both keepers made good saves ...

... but we scored, they didn't.

McGeady missed a sitter soon after we scored but, tbf, going 2-0 up at Fleetwood did us no favours tbh.

Real tough game that and I can't decide whether Bolton were great or we were poor but we certainly rode our luck at times. Regardless it was a great win and yet another I feel in previous seasons we would have drew or lost.

For me motm was Winchester who done everything really well and Doyle a close second.

    Hoffman I thought was decent.
    Stewart not at his best
Embleton no where near his best
Neil was great once moved forward.

2 of our subs had a mare though.
Wright was poor and kept making strange decisions that got us in trouble.
Huggins was horrendous on the left, looked so uncomfortable and wasn't confident in using his left foot once

I think Wigan have Sheff Wed on Tuesday ...

    ... draw would be nice.

Win and we're top in that case.

Good win today i think but also a reality check that we still have alot to do and we're not a big force in this league at present.
    Bolton missed some great chances.

I know these arent easy to cope with but these wins might just look crucial at the end. League 1 looks a good standard this year with teams like MK and Bolton playing as they do, and then the so called bigger sides. We have played, on paper, some decent teams.

I have slight niggle about how clinical we are in the final third. Hoping that will come as the season wears on, attacking always takes a bit longer to coach. With this form we may be in a great positiion in January to bring another forward in if needed. Be nice to think we could get a player or two at that stage tailor madd for championship.

That game could have been 4 all.

    So I good 3 points.

I generally agree with the observation that we would have drawn or lost that game last season.

We missed loads of chances, they did too just as not as many as us.

Winchester, good game but then so did all the back four.

    Embleton is not a winger!

    Mcgeady had another quiet game.

Pritchard did some good and bad.

The young German winger missed a couple of sitters.
