I had a lovely curry with friends last night. Today, I went for a long walk to the pub with Mrs B to watch (ignore) the football and am now full of sausage and mushrooms. All in all, very nice. I care very little about golf and have zero expectations about Spurs, so am no longer upset by how awful we are. Once you let go, it's very cathartic.
Yes, point taken. We cooked a pizza which needed eating - and added some camembert, which really made it, before taking the Westie we are currently fostering to the pub. The great thing about having a dog is that it forces you to make the effort to walk to the pub! I'm not a huge golf fan, but the Ryder Cup can be very special; it appeals to the anorak in me - you can (theoretically) be down in all singles matches but up in all 12 two holes later. Not much ebb and flow today though.
Sounds like a really nice w/e. I'd like a dog but only a Siberian Husky and Mrs B only likes German Shepherds. It's the one thing we're never going to agree on...much to our cat's relief. Plus, Mrs B's closing in on retirement and we're off round the world.
Stumbled on this one: Lots of comments about it sounding like Billy Idol, but it's more post-punk/goth to me. The lead singer is Paul McGregor, who played for Forest, Plymouth and Northampton! please log in to view this image
Many moons ago a mate of mine returned to his mums house to collect a suitcase of his old punk gear, Seditionaries t shirts including the two cowboys and the Punk Hell shirt ,original Westwood bandages pants and Westwood shoes , fliers and posters from the era , he found out that his mum had thrown it in a neighbour's skip
It's the remix to Ignition R. Kelly's locked up in prison Cos he's a dirty old pedo He likes girls and not women.
It was 42 years ago today, that 'Smash it Up' was released, to be promptly banned by the BBC for being 'too nihilistic'...? Where has the time gone?
RIP Barry Ryan. I was 6 when Eloise was first in the charts. My mum had been a dancer and always had the radio on and it became a favourite of mine, long before The Damned got their hands on it. Later, it was a common love of Mrs B and I, from when we first met..and then we named our eldest Eloise. Thanks for everything...
