I may not have agreed with Harrington leaving out Rose or with some of his pairings, but to be brutally honest I don't think it would've mattered who we had out against that team playing at that level. Simply stunning quality from arguably the greatest side ever. Yes we never put them under any pressure, but they never allowed us to. Alot of thought has to go into our selection process now, too many players were in our side that were either out of form or simply are past this level now. I'd like us to go down the same route of having 6 captain picks, as I believe this gives more flexibility to name your strongest lineup. As much as it pains me just gotta say bravo States, just too good this time. Roll on Italy !
I think it was a case of the Americans players are young and on the rise, whilst the Europeans players heading in the opposite direction. Throw in some poor pairings and performances and you get the whitewash that happened. It still doesn’t give the Americans the right to carry on like d1ckheads and drink beer on the course. They have a bad habit of thumbing their noses to any form of decency, correctness and common courtesy.
