Word around here is that they're wrecked with injuries in defence especially and the initial promotion momentum has faded a little.

As we're making plenty of chances there's bound to be a game where plenty go in ...

... so I'm going for 5-0 this time with goals from 5 scorers, wonder if I can get odds on that.

We once came up from Mansfield in a rental mini bus, for a Notts County game at Roker ...

.... we parked round the back of the Fort and the Sunderland lunatics put the windows out and slashed the tyres ffs.

Thankfully we waited in the pub until the breakdown service turned up <laugh>

It wasn’t that long ago my season card would just remain in my wallet for home games under that clown Parkinson. Tomorrow I’ll leave work at Wakefield and head straight back to pick the little lad up on route to the SoL. It feels different these days. Ha’way the lads.

Fabulous. This could go one of two ways
You'll either have them all converted to be lads fans
or you'll be hitch hiking from Tamworth services.

I expect a win and hopefully a relaxed last 30 mins or so.

Cheers RTB. Once again another class write up.

Its high time we had a comfortable win Not just better for the nerves
but give LJ a chance to make some attacking changes for a change instead of just trying to shore things up.

I've noticed there aren't many thrashings in L1, or am I mistaken.

    If so I wonder why.

That's quite true a lot of close games and slot of very late goals
Would be nice to start bucking the trend

    Cheers RTB.

Let’s just get another win & keep the pressure on. Gonna be patient on our timing for us to fully click & start burying teams. I’d rather save that for Pompey anyway.

Neil, Pritchard, Embleton, Doyle and Cirkin on the bench tomorrow night.

That's from someone on the staff so I'm assuming he's right.

I think there will be a few changes, through injury or otherwise.

That team would do me RTB. Would be good to see Broadhead and Dajaku get a league start.

Personally, I would keep O9 in CM. Evans gives us a lot more composure and control in midfield, so I would save him for Saturday. The ones who have come in for the cup games have performed very well and I trust anyone in our squad to give a good account of themselves tomorrow night.

They apparently have injury problems in defence and I expect us to exploit that. 3-0 to the Mighty Mackems!
