The videos of Bogusz are being blocked by La Liga. We are being stopped from posting all of Bogusz goals this season and assists. I am officially calling for the club to recall him in January. 6 games 3 screamers and 2 assists, plus the goals he scored in pre season. He is bossing midfield and dynamic…… you know something we need and have been lacking for a couple years.

The clip below is done by the Poles and and the Polish National team want him back in Poland specifically for Legia Warsaw who tried to buy him this summer and even begged Orta to loan him. Bogusz wanted to go too, so whats the plan why send him tomSpain instead unless its because he has been told to do his stuff and he will be brought back. I recommend everyone goes onto You Tube and watch all his goals especially this seasons which are screamers. I now put this kid ahead if Lewis Bate and maybe should be brought back now as a mature pro

Either way we based our need for a CM player on Forshaws return, ludicrous decision he can’t handle the training he is being put through. I was reading a guy from Spain’s comments on Llorente just an hour ago, he said he follows Spanish football rigorously and he said we got Llorente cheap as he is always injured, this is a fear of mine.

I have zero proof that these players can’t handle the expectations of being Bielsa fit but facts and figures regarding the ease of which some players pick up injuries speak for themselves.

    Edit* just found this….

There was always an element of risk involved with his signing, given his previous injury record at Real Sociedad.

Llorente underwent surgery for a distal fracture of the left fibula in 2018, in which a 'screwed plate' was inserted. At the same time, Llorente had an ankle arthroscopy, a procedure used to treat issues in the ankle joint, which was confirmed to have been successful by Real Sociedad's post-operative medical report.

T'was a grand day out that's for sure.

Only way it could have been better is if (in no particular order) we'd have been joined by, Eire, Wakey, The Duke, Davy, Shaks, Chesh, Lee, Glory, OLOF, Elland, Leeds 60 & WJ. Apologies if I've missed anyone out and I've only included those who have already had the pleasure of buying me beer <laugh>

The rest of you need to get wriggle on and buy the Jamster a pint of Blonde asap.

Would have been nice to win, but having :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer: with ya forum buddies is really what it's all about.

    MOT.

Perhaps there's an obvious answer to this that you're not picking up on. That & the fact that the rest of us were in the Salters hiding from you!

Ristac you are quoting injuries on broken bones when we all know he has had muscle injuries at Leeds. If you look at the number if games missed throughout his career you can clearly see he actually didnt have a bad injury record until he got to Leeds in truth and all with different muscle injuries. Compare his games missed to Cooper for example and nothing out of the ordinary except for the bad one last season https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-llorente/verletzungen/spieler/246291

Raphinha missed 13 games in 18/19 before he joined us but its oar for the course some are insinuating Llorente is very different from any other footballer

I liked the look of him.

but he’s scored a few goals in the Spanish second division, after doing nothing last season. Might be a bit early to pin our hopes on him as the season’s saviour?

There's a big difference between Spains second division and the Premier league. They will have had a look at him pre season both on instinct and on data and decided he won't play this season so send him out on loan. We're clutching at straws if we think a 19 year old will rescue a season.

Rodrigo is hitting a bit of form. Dallas looked better on Saturday. Klich, despite his miss, looks like he has played himself in to a bit of form. Bogusz wouldn't get in front of any of them.

Just on the injury jinx this piece is a bit telling because Leeds had nowhere near the number of injuries as Liverpool who missed 204 games when totalled and Leicester missed 102 games at No2. Leeds only crept into the top 10 missed games so can we please be realistic because we will end up with another “burnout” type bollox if we arent careful:emoticon-0148-yes:

Leeds may not have as many injuries but it’s worse for them because of the lack of squad depth. The more established clubs in the PL can replace an injured player with another international, we have to use an untried u23.

Coopers totals around 4.5 months injured, Llorente 11 months. I hope you’re right and Llorente plays as many games as possible for us but sometimes you just can’t help it. You’re either a David Batty and Kelvin Phillips or you are Woodgate and Bridges, I just believe Llorente is going to be one of those that never hits the heights for us and spends more time injured.

You’ve got to also look at how Bielsa likes to get injured players to a certain level of fitness before he gives them another chance.
