I don't think he was referring to Grieve, that was years before the Americans mentioned in the post you were responding to.
Can we rank ITKers by the veracity of their claims please...that way the real ITKers Group could be filtered out from the wannabeITKers Group and the Taking The P... Just Want To See Your Reaction Group. I belong to the Haven't A Cluers Group which is probably the largest and least exclusive group here.
I get bits and bobs and I share what I get when I can, but it's very subject dependent. I used to be pretty clued up on transfers, but then the bloke that told me stuff left the club in 2017, so now it's very sporadic. I get a bit of inside info on this takeover in drips and drops, but as I always say, people can read it and believe it or not, it's their prerogative.
Interesting to see the valuations on Sunderland and Ipswich, clubs with their own, larger grounds and a bigger fanbase. Wonder what our owners can realistically expect? Interesting to see the bit about the ownership of Derby's ground could be an issue for new owners as they could have to provide proof of security of tenure for 10 years. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...balance-taxpayers-bail-club-say-analysts.html
As they are averaging over 19,000 this season in League 1, nearly double what we are in the Championship, I would say yes.
I wouldn't say that's the best basis for which club is the better supported club given the context around both clubs.
Still waiting for someone / anyone to tell the real price that Hull City is offered to the market at. Somebody must be ITK.
Their crowds didn't drop in their relegation season and kept up after relegation. Their crowds this season in League one, following 2 disappointing seasons in League One are only 1,000 less than our last one in the PL. So I would say any prospective buyer looking at the two clubs would come to the conclusion that they are.
If my numbers had come up in the Euromillions last night I would been able to let you know. Unfortunately, despite investing in 2 tickets from my £30 winnings last week, they didn't.
They'd be making a pretty simplistic analysis and with that sort of critical thinking I'd be glad for them not to buy us as they wouldn't be very intelligent.
