The Green Knight ... brilliant, wonderful film, just see it No Time To Die ... very good nonsense Bond escapism and a pretty satisfying end to the era, definitely not the worst of the Craig Bonds, probably not the best The Many Saints of Newark ... kind of a let down, if you're hoping it will be like The Sopranos you'll unfortunately be disappointed, Gandolfini Jr is great and it's cool to see some of the main characters in the show in their younger days and peripheral to a lot of what takes place, I just felt it was a bit lacking overall
last year half the country were clapping the NHS which was far more complicit in his crimes than the beeb .
It is what it is; good fun easy watch that doesn't required your undivided attention. Wonder if they'll make an English version...
What did you like about it? I was a bit meh about it, 4 or 5/10 for me. Just a bit bland, felt like they were really trying hard to stretch a 10 page script over 2hrs. Judas and the Black Messiah on the other hand I thought was pretty decent, 7/10
Everything really, the sets and scenery/photography of locations which I thought was stunning, use of colours, the acting particularly Dev Patel who I think has this great ability to combine confidence and forthrightness with hesitance and lack of confidence, then the overall tone and feel of this other, ancient, strange, mythical world that's kind of adjacent to the real world
