Haha, don't know about that, but Sam Johnstone may be the first England keeper ever to get an assist for Grealish's goal.
He needs to be getting a PL start. Adams and Armstrong is not working at the moment (granted they are having no service). Wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea have a thought about recalling him before too long - looks to be in good form based on international and cup performances and we are giving him about 10 mins every two games.
If he can't make an impression in 90 minutes against Sheffield United, I'm thinking maybe Ralph knows best. He will get plenty of game time once he understands the system a bit more. Same for Adarma - a real worker who is building himself up nicely. We simply cannot afford players to drop into the first team and perform straight away - unless we're really lucky like we were with Tino... So we have to be a bit patient.
I agree about needing patience. But surely that also applies to Broja? Yes he didn't take his opportunity vs Sheff Utd, but that was just one match. Sheff Utd might not be a PL team anymore, but they're hardly non league level. To judge Broja on that one game is pretty harsh. He needs time. Adams, in comparison, is now into his third season with us. There's being patient, and there's being patient... It can't be given forever.
It’s not just the games though. Ralph publicly questioned his dedication in training and in that game. If he’s not showing the right attitude and work ethic, it sends the wrong message to start him. He’s not a transcendent talent who is above the rules of the collective. Maybe one day, but not at the moment.
Oh I agree with you on that. Ralph's comments about his attitude etc were concerning, and could well be justification for his bit part role to date. Indeed, I'm not advocating that Broja should be starting. I was just pointing out that to say patience is needed is surely something which supports Broja playing, rather than supports him not playing.
