Personally I voted for Brexit, but could not vote for Bonko... and I thought Corbyn was Toxic.

I think we all know snippets of Bonko's back stories, sacked for lying and making stuff up for the torygraph... he tried to arrange to have a former friend beaten up. His then wife told him she had breast cancer and a couple of weeks later he left her for another woman.
He obvious plays the fool well and lots of folk like it...
However as even Jeremy Hunt has signed off on, his handling of Covid19 has been awful and lots of people particularly the elderly have died.

All politicians have their downsides, B' liar, Iraq War and dodgy tax actions. Cameron of course tried to use his old job to make him very rich, it was illegal?

Interesting. Although I believe there has always been a feeling amongst certain elements of the Russian population that they were happier under Communism.

 

But that's only half the story. The report also stated that elements of the response were excellent and that in many cases it was the same individuals responsible for both the terrible bits and the excellent bits.

 

People keep saying Corbyn would be worse than Johnson and I'm sure they're right.

That can't be used as an excuse for everything though.

Yeah, Russia is a fascinating country. I remember seeing on the news years ago, some protesters in Russia carrying pictures of Stalin. Think that was old people who preferred the days when there was bread for everyone, even if you had to queue for it. This new look Communist Party is more young people looking for an alternative to Putin, that isn’t supported by American dollars.

A small number of individuals have got rich in Putin’s Russia, but most people seem to be really struggling. Not unlike here in some ways, but obviously far worse.

For what it's worth, slagging the current Prime minister is ok and acceptable but for all the slagging offn, not one has come up with a better alternative, so who, in the current political climate, is a better alternative?
