NHS and BMS urging Government to initiate Plan B.

Government response:

1) Urge people to get their boosters
2) Urge people to be serious about wearing masks, whilst photos from the HoC during PMQs show the opposition benches almost completely wearing masks and pretty much no Tories wearing them.

 

Number of cases means nothing in isolation. How many people are being hospitalised and dying is the important number.

if 100,000 get it but 0 die then makes no difference. Obviously I know it’s not 0, but it’s the bad effects that’s the important thing.

 

Deaths are also increasing and the BMA/NHS have argued that the Government's own tests for implementing Plan B have already been met.

I don’t know how many of those deaths are from unvaccinated people so you then have to remove those from those figures as we should no longer be reporting on the cases and deaths of unvaccinated people unless they have medical reasons not to vaccinate.

Otherwise it’s like saging oh we’ve had 200 people die in car accidents, but 199 of them weren’t wearing seatbelts. So whose fault is that?
