Or alternatively wait until the statute of limitation runs out then charge them.

I think you may have misunderstood something along the way. The suggestion was that Hoffenheim and Köln had taken a backhander for not appealing.

Man City, Liverpool and Man Utd are clubbing together for a private aircraft to ensure their South American players are back for the weekend.

You have to respect Liverpool and Man City's dedication to getting Fred back in time for Man Utd <laugh>

La Liga have agreed to postpone Atletico Madrid's match this weekend, due to their South American players arriving back from international duty late in the week.

They will have a full rest in preparation for their Champions League game against Liverpool.

Eiropean leagues seem to have a lot more flexibility in terms of their fixtures and moving things around. Even just moving game times to allow longer rest of have European games, England seems to be only place that takes no very little consideration. Only this season have not not allowed you to play 12:30 day if you played on a Wednesday in Europe.

Problem is, our game v Watford is on tv. Tv brings in huge money so the league and clubs have to bend over backwards for them. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you…

Shouldn't matter. The leavie should be saying going further in cl is more important to the prem than a single league game.

Then again this lot throw their big teams into the copa del Rey's quite late on so it is all set up for the big boys.

The prem is "egalatarian" which really means the small clubs dont mind big clubs buying all the trophies but dont want any of their direct rivals to gain any advantage in the relegation battle.

Apparently at an extraordinary meeting between the 19 PL clubs, excluding Newcastle, about the takeover, the three clubs who were most vocal and upset were utd, Spurs and Everton. All of whom were concerned about the fight for CL places.

Newcastle still face the problem that they are Newcastle.

Both Chelsea and Citeh had better starting factors.
Both had Locational pulls, People have heard of Manchester (mainly cause of ManU<whistle>) and Chelsea had the big draw of London.
Newcastle are in Newcastle, maybe a nice city but its ****ing cold and I'd be surprised if people in Europe (let alone the rest of the world) know where it is.

Both have a more accessable history, Chelsea had won a fair few things in the years before RA and were recognised as a good team in the Prem. Citeh were a big team in the 60s and could hark back to their history with fans who can still remember those days.
Newcastle haven't won the league since 1927 and the their last cup win was 1955, the only history they're remembered for is losing out to Man U with Keegan.

Its been done before and there already clubs who've establised themselves as successes who will have a bigger draw than Newcastle. Citeh, Chelsea and PSG (and aload of other big spenders) will be ahead of Newcastle for any player willing to sell themselves for a big wage.
Plus I expect rules and scrutiny to tighten to prevent the previous instant success of afore mentioned clubs

Newcastle will find it really hard to convince Managers and Players to move to them imo. The best will want to move to the best and not waste time on a decade plus long project. If you're a good player you aint going to pick Newcastle over Real even if the Saudi's are offering more money.
What they should be doing is looking for misfit players who they might be able to convince with regular playing time and big wages.
