Alien’s best game in a Saints shirt. Redmond’s best for gawd-knows how long.

Diallo getting better. Stuie back. Salisu is a f*cking oak tree.

I mean, Leeds we’re dross, but sod it. 3 points!!

Thanks @ellandback for the streams very good. Leeds were very short today but presumably because of the players you are missing?

Happy with the three points. One error from Salisu but very good and Redmond was positive today. Good that S Armstrong got some time but shame A Armstrong didn't.

Played the right team at the right time.

Am thinking Che is going to struggle to get back in front of Broja after today. Well, he should, but...who knows.

Great performance. Should have thrashed them but we got the win and that's what matters. Diallo my MOTM, closely followed by Salisu, Redmond and Broja. Thought Diallo was immense today. Salisu was fantastic apart from one big mistake (he would have been my MOTM otherwise). The goal was brilliant - love counter-attacking goals.

Really happy for Mo El. He was great while on loan in Scotland and was always a professional. Never complained. Just kept saying that he wanted to come back and kept putting up numbers at Celtic. It’s great that he’s the loan ranger who managed to make it back in and he’s generally had a very positive start to the year. Him and Armstrong might look like our best options for the second row of attack in a 4-2-2-2. With Redmond as an option there too it shows how strong some areas of the squad are. Pray for Nathan Tella, folks.

(P.S. Do we call them double 10s? They aren’t really wingers because they all generally position and play inside of the channels? I don’t profess to know the parlance.)

How did we only have 45% possession in that game?!

Thanks! I'll have my 60 sec nap then, usually with MOTD, it's the full hour or more nap!! Personally, even if it was a 'miss' I'll take the encouragement from the posts on here, that at least now we have players who can turn things around, not just for themselves but the team also. We just need plenty of patience.

I watched the game, that’s harsh, I don’t think he could get there.

I thought he was really good on and off the ball, worked really really hard. Everyone did, to be honest. Solid team performance, the kind of performance that will keep us in thus league if we play at this intensity every week.

That’s what I thought. Surely it was more 65/70%. In the first 5 mins it was 5%- 95%. The only statistic that matters is 1-0.

Best performance of the season joint with Man City away, albeit Leeds made it quite easy for us.

Not a single player with an off day either and I can’t remember the last time I said that.

Motm - Redmond, if he could turn a performance like that out every couple of games he would be our best player. That was his best PL performance for us in about three seasons. Also funnily enough his corners and crosses today were better than any of JWPs so far this season. Seems much better up front than on the wing.

Broja was better today than Adams and A Armstrong have managed to be at any point this season, hopefully that knock doesn’t put him out of the Burnley game.

    Diallo’s best Saints game.

    Elyounoussi’s best Saints game.

Tino was his usual cracking self.

    Perraud was very good.

Salisu is the defensive solution we have been looking for, let hope we fight off the vultures for a couple of seasons.

Only issue is we should have won by more, but a top performance all around!

Silly question, but why did Broja have to go off the pitch after the goal? Leeds also had a player who got treatment who stayed on.

Also, we found out why Man United sold James - he's not very good.
